Mary holds a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She spent over 20 years in the managed health and insurance industries as a sales and marketing executive. She has experience in creating marketing strategies and working with health care coalitions and is skilled in business development. She has also worked with large national and local employers as clients and has helped them successfully communicate to their employees. Her in-depth knowledge of business and the health care and insurance industries gives her insight into how business, consumers and health care providers think and operate.

In addition, Mary and Michael are members of the boards of directors of two community nonprofits where they utilize their time and talents to lead PR and marketing efforts.
